My loss of signal problems are now resolved - I'm up and running on Eastern Arc. It would have been a lot easier if my neighbor would have let me pay to have his trees trimmed...

I still have to have a dish for 110 to pick up my OTA guide.

Removing the trees would have been the easy route. Getting everything I needed to make Eastern Arc work took a LOT more effort. Moving the dishes off my roof where it where they were hard to see and onto my fence had an added benefit though - the uncooperative neighbor doesn't like the way the dish looks out there because he can see it from his yard. I told him to kiss my butt.

Why do you still need a 110 view? Is that why Eastern Arc folks, like me, don't have a working customer service menu and dish home? The guide seems to dowload for me.

I added the 110 view solely for the OTA program guide. I get all my HD local channels OTA but it's hard to schedule recording events without the local guide information. I've never used the CS menu or dish home so I don't know if having 110 will affect them or not.
