Loosing Signal

I have my dish aimed at 99 west on my c band dish. Getting a quaility of 76%. I'm on the sonic tap channels. It's not windy out.
Yet about every 2-3 minutes the signal drops out for about a second. It's not even long enough to make a change on the meter.

I know most would say dont worry about it, but I would like to find out the cause of this.

Any tree branches nearby? Sometimes a breeze will move a branch that otherwise is out of the way, and that can cause momentary loss of signal.

Other culprits can be cables, fittings, and switches.

My analog receiver is looped through from my digital. I notice that If I turn my analog receiver off, my digital receiver looses signal more often.

How long is your cable run? Sounds like you're not getting enough power to the LNB if having the analog on helps the situation...
