Just recently got my HR-20, after having a D* TiVO (SD) for 2 years. My house is older and wired with just one CAT cable. I was fine with it, because I rarely need to record 2 programs at once. If i was recording a program while watching (essentially "looping") and say I paused it a few times and was like 15 min behind, when it was time to start recording the new program the TiVO would ask if was OK to change the channel. If I said yes, it would record the new program but let me continue watching the "Looped" program. The new HR-20 does not let me do this, when it prompts me to change the channel it switches to the new channel. This is a huge PITA, since then I have to go back and play the last program and FF through it until I get up to the point where I was watching it. This seems like a simple software function for them to put in, is there some setting I can change? Or is it pure laziness on the part of D*?
