I have a 2013 Chrysler that has a SIRIUS radio that still is working.
My wife has a 2020 Buick with SIRIUSXM radio that works.
They're both using the same company, same satellites, same servers, right?

General Motors will now be offering a three-year SiriusXM Extended Service Subscription as an option on all of its 2025 model-year vehicles. If you buy a Ford, you get Sirius
If you buy a GM you get XM
At least it was the last time I went Vehicle shopping
"As of May 2022, there are six functional satellites in orbit: two XM, two Sirius, and two supporting both systems (one being a spare)."I don't think that's true either.
You still have a Sirius And an XM system running out there.
Is what I was getting at.
I'm sure there will be a lot more details coming out over the next year. What about the channel lineups will they both companies combine both lineups into one
Thats interesting ...General Motors will now be offering a three-year SiriusXM Extended Service Subscription as an option on all of its 2025 model-year vehicles.
Might that be due to being logged into one or the other ?Ahh I see what you are saying. That was true for a long time, doesn't appear to me there is a true separation anymore. They used to ask what radio you have before showing you plans but I don't see that. And it looks to me now all programming is the same.
I was wondering the same ...So I wonder what happens to the last few Uverse TV subs with this merger - & yes, I know a couple people that still have it.
There are still about 1.5-2 Million Uverse subs, mostly because of multi-dwellings/Apartment Complexes that have agreements to be the sole provider. So I wonder what happens to the last few Uverse TV subs with this merger - & yes, I know a couple people that still have it.
I posted this in the other thread:
Today at 10:30 a.m. ET on CNBC, Hamid Akhavan, Echostar CEO, Will answer questions about the DTV-DISH TV merger.
Damn. I missed it while talking with my boss. Anyone got a link to it? Or a transcript?
Different satellites..different receivers..different channels...sound like 2 different companies..same corporate ownership
Mine worksJuan Verizon is down nationwide, can you please plug it back in? Thanks
