Been to alot of forum looking for news on the Panasonic DMP-BD50 blu-ray player.Forgot about this site that i have been part of for years. You guys are great about keeping up on all the news. Anyone have a launch date for this player. I have seen one site with May 1 . Thanks guys check you out first next time.

Late May/early June are the estimates right now. I'm very happy with my BD30 PQ, so the BD50 should be a good investment.
I can't get a date from my rep. It was supposed to have been out by now. Panasonic is one of the worst companies for keeping things stocked. They have a set amount that they let completely run dry and then replenishing is a nightmare. One reason why noone has any BD30's right now.

I wonder how the Sony S350 will compare. Is Sony's upconversion better, worse or the same as the panny's?
