I am starting to get the backyard ready for the summer and have grown sick and tired of a $200 bbq I bought 3 years ago. Long story short it does not cook.

My question is such: my wife owened a gas bbq which used ceramic briquettes and it was the best bbq ever. Looking online its too difficult to tell which, if any, uses briquttes or not; any suggestions?

Thanks!

Just have to go and look around. You used to be able to buy just the ceramic briquettes by themselves. I bought some at Wally World one time.
