I'm thinking about getting a sirius reciever, but I know nothing about them. Seems like they all require some kit to make them work. Is this true? They don't have standard audio out ports on them, like a CD player or something? Is there any way for me to be listening to the music for $99 + subscription?

By the way, this is the one I'm thinking about:

Normally, when you buy the reciever, it is just a box that needs to go into either a car adapter, a boom box, or a home adapter. This allows you to pop the receiver out of one adapter and into another. The adapters supply the power to the radio, the antenna and the audio outs. Most car adapters now have an FM modulator so you don't have to do anything other than plug it in.

Look at this thread to see about getting a free radio and adapter. Must get it done by 11/24 and sub for one year.

So the receiver is completely useless without any of the kits? Are there any receivers that are not this way?
