I have a Chaparral Corotor II plus installed in my Unimesh 12 ft mesh dish. Have been looking for awhile for a feedhorn cover to protect it from rain and sun and have not been able to find one. I purchased one from TEK2000 and to my surprise it was too small to fit the corotor. The circumference was too small to fit the whole assembly with elbow. I guess they designed it thinking everyone uses LNBFs nowadays.
Anyone know where I can get an old school feedhorn cover big enough for a chaparral lnb holder?

Go to Walmart and buy a plastic trash can that looks usable. Not much difference, but it'll likely cost a LOT less than anything else. I'm sure from there you can be creative for mounting it.

The dish is on the roof. Not sure how it would look like with a trash can on it but got me thinking on some other options. Thanks

What diameter cover do you need? Do you need both pieces or just the hood itself? I have a couple lying around, but I need to know the size you need. I also have a 7.5 foot Unimesh I'm getting ready to scrap that has both pieces on it. Appears to be in great condition. I think most of them regardless of dish size are universal. :) If it will work, it can be yours for the shipping charge. I'll post a picture.

If it is an original for Unimesh then it should fit. Should not be different for a 12 footer.
I need both pieces. Let me know if I can PM you with my information. You can surely post a picture
Thank you!

I was going to take the picture last evening, but it was pouring down the rain. I kept waiting for it to quit, but is stormed all night. Will try to get the picture tonight and I'll inspect it to to make sure it's OK. :)

Here's the feed cover I spoke with you about. It's in great shape and it's not brittle. It has the scalar ring and the locking lugs with it. I'll have to get it boxed and take it to the Post Office and get it weighed and find out how much it will cost to ship it to your location. Do you want it sent 1st class so it can be tracked? The lady at the Post Office said it would take about 10 days to get to you. Do you have a PayPal account?

Could you please send me your shipping information? The PO needs that to give me an accurate shipping cost. :) Thanks

I sent you a PM with my address.
Thank you!

No Problem. I'll get a total tomorrow for you. I put you a bonus box in with the feed cover. :) It's a California Amplifier 20K LNB. It hasn't been tested, but the dish it came off of was the same one with the cover I'm sending you and it was working when it was taken down. Since you're running a Corotor II, you'd have a use for it. I'm 99% sure it's good. :)

wvman here's a picture of the motor:

I checked with my friend and showed him the picture you sent me and he said he had three of those a year ago, but when he cleaned up the shop, he threw them away. :( He said he has a friend in Ohio that was in the businesses and he said he'd check to see if he has one. If he has more than one and I can get them for song, would you want more than one? You may have to referb them or maybe take two and make one good one. I'll let you know what he says and how much the guy wants for them. Cheers!

Yes wvman doesn't hurt to have as many as possible. They are very difficult to find and I do intend to keep my hh mount for long.
