locals guide info sucks

Why? It went forward a week on DirecTV. It's doing this on both my 522 and 311 that I had installed a couple hours ago. The other channels guide info seem fine. The guide seems to only update the local programming a few minutes before the next program is about to start...

If you just had your equipment installed it takes some time for the receivers to download the guide data. After tonight it should have all the data.

How come the locals guide data takes so much longer to download than the other channels'? I've scrolled up through them and don't have the patience to see when their listings end.

I think it's because the locals are specific and only seen to receivers that subscribe to where as the other channels are seen by everyone.
