I know that I can get HD locals with an off-air antenna combined with the directv HD receiver. Can I also get local digital weather stations through the HD receiver? I know a couple of them are broadcast in SD digitally. For example, if 6.1 is the local HD ABC, can I get 6.2 which is the SD weather station. I can get several of the local stations in HD via directv but I really want to have the local weather stations.

The short answer is yes. If you can pick up the main digital channel OTA then the other sub-channels will be there too.

IF you are still talking about getting the locals with your OTA antenna,
YES.

I think that is what you were saying.

But IF you were refering to getting the locals from D*'s sats, I think the answer is NO

Thank you. Yes, I'm wanting to get my non-hd digital locals via the antenna to watch through the hd receiver.

Yes then, you should have no trouble.
bring your feed into the OTA input and you'll be good to go.
You may have to scan for channels again, then it will show up in your guide.
