Set the G2 up for our RV, but can't get local channels, which means for football season the satellite is useless :=(

Anyone have any hints or tips?

Myrtle Beach is an MPEG4 only DMA, which means all the locals come from one of the HD satellites (99s I believe). That means you will need an HD dish (Slimline) and an HD receiver to get the locals.

:welcome to Satelliteguys DrC78!
Like texasbrit said, you need an hd setup to receive your local channels.
