Okay so the ESPN gameplan games have ended and I switch to one of the local channels for some filler material (local in this case is WFMZ 69, local Philly 'burbs station) which is showing Star Trek VI. As I'm occasionally watching I notice an occasional "fuzz" of the type I used to get when I had (ugh) Comcast. It's not particularly annoying, but with DirecTV digital I would expect to not get any kind of interference at all.
So, is this something that is happening "upstream"? As in, WFMZ just has a crappy signal from wherever they are generating it or otherwise sending it along so that D* is just passing along the local-quality signal with the occasional fuzz and faithfully replicating it digitally on my receiver?
