Just a general question

I took my GeoSatPro 200 and put it on Glorystar setup (off advanced) and I lost all signals. Reset and went into Advanced and noticed under G19 it says 22k on. (I have a fixed dish on 22k so thats why it didnt work)

Since Glorystar is a one satellite setup now (97W) why is the 22k set to on? In G* mode you cant get into the menu to turn that off. Wasnt the old setup when it was 97/101 didnt it use a diseqc switch?

just wondering......

The legacy Glorystar systems were distributed with both DiSEqC and 22KHz switches to switch between 97W and 101W satellites. The current updates continue to set the 22KHz and DiSEqC Port 2 default switch setting to ON for Galaxy19 selection in the Glorystar mode to support these legacy systems.

Even though Glorystar no longer ships the two LNBF systems, over 50,000 two LNBF systems were distributed and we must assume that the majority of these systems are still in operation. It would be a customer support nightmare to stop supporting the legacy switch setting.
