LNB powering ?

I was wondering if anyone had good results using a Sonora DirecTV Slim Line / AT9 and Phase III 1A power inserter 5 to 2400 MHz (HRPID1422)? I remember reading here on this forum people buying this to keep power to all the LNB's all the time. Did it improve your response time changing channels? Thanks for your feed back.
