living in vancouver bc would like to try satellite tv who are the providers?

i presently have shaw tv.......actually a bundle..... hdtv.... long distance free canada and us and high speed internet......paying 103.32. soon to increase to....162.00 plus taxes per month. Can i do this any cheaper.......i do not want a cell phone ......a land line with us and canadian free long distance, internet high speed HD tv with oasis channel and golf use up most of my at home time. Any suggestions?

You got two other options.

BTV
Shaw Direct.

With BTV your basically using a 20" with Quad LNB.
For programing depending on what you want it maybe cheaper or more expensive. Not bundling with other non Bell services.

Shaw Direct, this one might be better. I'm not sure who you have your phone with, but if it Shaw, I'm not sure if you can bundle Shaw Direct with Shaw Home phone & internet with.As for programing depending on what you have it may be cheaper or more expensive.

You can definitely bundle the Shaw satellite with any of the other Shaw services. With satellite you get all the time zones across Canada plus way more channels than cable can provide for less $

Plus you get free service calls with Shawdirect and not BTV I believe

1-855-237-8904 is the new phone number for combining satellite services withe the other Shaw services. I think if you tell them you are thinking of switching they will sharpen the pencil for you
