Live Earth Concert Coverage

Just a mention - the Live Earth concerts will be on UHD live from 4am to 2am today (7/7). Great for the DVR with a big hard drive

I know that NBC has the primetime broadcast, I think that will be a compilation of the various concerts. THe UHD stuff should be more of a live feed and longer sets.

I remember their coverage from the last concert series like this (a year or two ago) and it was quite fun to watch.

I got it in my queue. Good thing I have a brand new HR20-100 with nothing on it. Heck my brother called me to confirm how much the HR20 can record to get it. Thanks masterdeals for the reminder.

Sorry to say, I'm 2+ hours into my recordings, finally get something I like, and there are SEVERAL audio breakups. This is something I was thinking of using my DVD recorder for and clipping stuff I like, but with this many breakups it isn't worth it.

I am getting lots of pixel and audio drops too. Looks like a bad OTA signal. Gotta be Universal's issue or source feed.

I watched some of it before I had to go to work this morning on E*. Had breakups and one time it looked like it switched to the SD feed.

I forgot to mention the 4x3 SD jumps too. Its looking a bit better now but that first 2 hours was rough.
