Why don't you buy one, and let me know in 5 years how it's held up? ;)

Well LG is reported to be using white OLED with color filters, a way hopefully to have colors fade together instead of one (blue) faster than the others. But, will the white stay the same color temperature over time? All interesting things to see, but not something I would invest upwards of $10k to find out if they got the problems solved. I would buy one if it were nearer to $2k and take my chances.
 
4 mm = 0.15 of an inch. I wonder if OLED has the potential to become a bit cheaper than the current televisions on the market at their current prices.
