LAFF Grabs Top Sitcoms in Carsey-Werner Deal

LAFF, the year-old digital multicast network focusing on comedy, is adding five top sitcoms in a multi-year licensing deal with Carsey-Werner.

The new deal will enable LAFF to air Roseanne, That '70s Show, 3rd Rock from the Sun, Grounded for Life and Cybill.

LAFF, owned by Katz Broadcasting, is carried on the digital subchannels of local TV stations reaching 86.5 million households in the U.S.

Mine is now on a low powered station that the signal drops for no reason and has pixeling too (even when the signal is good)

Of course, when I saw this title, I knew of course without reading any further that whatever the shows were they obviously won't include the Cosby Show ... lol

Anyway, got Laff here on ABC's 7-3 (RF ch. 7). Thankfully in the correct OAR, not stretched.

They're not bringing back Roseanne because of the that controversial Tweet she made last year:
After Racist Tweet, Roseanne Barr’s Show Is Canceled by ABC

The original seasons were taken off of Laff following the cancellation of the new season of Roseanne on ABC. Carsey-Werner then wrote Roseanne out of the show, and renamed the show The Conners.
