long wait for nothing ! hook up pocketdish to usb and receiver shuts off just like l255. there is a new setup for erd that lets you use the program guide and choose ext as where you want the show to record & it recorde directly to pocketdish. a little better i guess than recording with the pocketdish timers. hopefully things will get better.

Well that covers recording "new" stuff, did you find a way to dump DVR events to the external device?

Would be nice if they would update the Help text when they add new features. Everywhere I've found ERD there is nothing in Help about it.
