So I have this Viacast Quantum MSR-1500 without remote.
was able to get the DVB portion tested and working. But can I use
the router on the 10/100 internet side. I did some research and found out
the company Viacast went out of business. After doing some more
research I found out there is no free internet. But I would like
more information on L-Band internet and any companies that might offer
it or have information to read about it. Also if anybody has any type of
software to upgrade the reciver and do more than just internet routing
on the network side. There was talk of a german company having firmware to upgrade the reciver to do more things. But did not release it. Also if anybody could tell me anything about the remote. I would appriciate it. Besides that. I think it will make a great receiver for the FTA radio I get. So I'll probably put it in my sterio rack. since I only paid a total of 10.99 from ebay.
