How can this movie be rated PG, when it contains nudity, sex, boobs and woman running around naked? Not that I'm complaining, but some parents might in trying to provide "parental-guidance" while watching this movie with their kids.

Onibaba Tonight (02/13) on Fu 7pm eastern

For anyone that enjoys Japanese cinema, this is a totally classic movie. Similar in style to Akira Kurasawa's work, this is a story about a woman that puts on a demon mask to frighten her wayward daughter in law into submission. This turns out to be a bad plan...

I'm very pleased to see this type of movie on Fu. I was afraid they would pass over the Japanese samuri genre and give us only Hong Kong flix.

Saw this last night...was mesmerizing. Reminded me of a cross between Kurasawa and David Lynch (particularly Twin Peak's and the supernaturally inferred blowing of the tree branches).

Hope it shows up again over on E*, I missed the beginning.
