if i point to a bird that has a analog ku test card... plug in my receiver (toshiba trx-1200) hit ku and the channel up through 32 channels.. i dont get anything... do you have to set it up like a regular fta receiver or not?

the analog box usually has the frequencies in 20khz steps started with TP1
TP1=11720
TP2=11740
TP3=11760
etc
and they alternate polarities...make sure the frequencies are set up properly and that you have the correct polarity

Also make sure you are using a standard LNB, the frequencies will be off if you are using a Universal LNB.
Also if your slaving it, you may need to tune to a H or V transponder on the main box, as it will control the polarity. Thats what I need to do with mine.
