King Dome Satellite

I just installed a new King Dome in-motion satellite receiver on my motor home and have a problem. I have a good signal, 96-98 but I get an error message that says I have a multi-switch problem. My Receiver is one that I use in the house and it is OK. I am using HDMI cables. The TV is HD also - DO I need some type of a Multiswitch? I can get sound and a momentary picture then the error shows up and I can only see the Channel guide. and I can hear the program. Does anybody know what is going on?

What model receiver are you using, what sat hardware did you select in the set-up, what sats are you hitting and are you sure there isn't a splitter in line (some of the prewires on RV's have splitters that won't work with sat stuff).
