Kill the Underlining?

I've noticed that the annoying underlining and hot linking of certain words in posts is only in some sections of the forum.
Is there an HTML tag I can use in my posts to turn that feature off when others read my posts?
Or, I suppose, is there a global setting I can use to turn it off so I don't have to view 'em?
I've looked all over the User Control Panel, but haven't seen anything that might help.

btw, the reason I love vBulletin 3.5.1 is the editor!

They are there as Scott has to pay the bills. As he wrote in his blog over the last two months this site has cost over $5,000 to run with most coming out of his own pocket (Most of the costs were the new servers)

The reason for the green lines is to raise funds to pay the bills which keeps the site on line.

If you become a Pub Member and then the green lines are gone. Plus you get a lot of inside information in there which makes it worth wild.

I kinda liked when I mentioned Sadoun's name, I got a hot link to Sadoun.com
For a site sponsor, it seemed reasonable (and fine).

I so overlooked that such common words were bought and paid for:
satellites
connnector
receivers
dish

In all these months, I can't remember paying attention to all the text in the pop-up boxes on words.
What was I thinking? That it was dictionary look-up on technical terms? Something helpful.

I recall reading once that you could contribute to get rid of the adverts between posts.
I'm sure it said the word-links went away too, but that's such a mind-boggling concept, I suspect my brain rejected it.

Okay, joke's on me.

The IntelliTxt ads have been there for over a year now, I am surprised you are just noticing them.

I just ignored them
Now with the new forum software, I was finally wondering how to kill 'em.
I'll go back to ignoring them.
That worked fine before.

sadoun still acts that way, i see it's red texted, and when I mouse over it i get the little popup, so all i'm missing is the underline...
