Lane Kiffin will be the next USC coach, Rivals.com has confirmed.

Kiffin will replace Pete Carroll, who left to take the Seattle Seahawks head coaching job. Kiffin coached Tennessee for one year, leading the Vols to a 7-6 record a trip to the Chick-fil-A Bowl

He probably would have been fired in 3 or 4 years IMO.

You guys will be better off without him.

UT needs to make a splash hire, not just a fill in.

BTW. I don't think he would have been fired for wins or losses but for something stupid he did or said.
He reminds me of Myles in that sense.

We will be able to see if it was Carroll or the coaches that made USC great.

carroll was taking jeremy bates and ken norton jr with him. wonder how long kiffin lasts at socal? cuz if he compiles 7-6 records, he'll be gone in 2 oe 3 years unless he turns out to be like bobby petrino.
