When blind scanning Galaxy 25 C band what name does KCSG scan in as?

Is it North American? Is it still in the clear?

I had this station a couple of weeks ago on my 6' prime focus dish and the signal was very strong. Now I am trying to receive it on my 4' offset dish and I can't seem to receive it due to adjacent satellite interference. I did discover one named "North American" with a 69% signal strength, but no video is present.

Service 1

North American is BYU TV

easiest way is to get the Nets on G4 or World Harvest TV on G4 and slowly move east a little bit until nets are gone and WHT is minimal....then you're on T5 :)

With my Pansat 2700a, KCSG never will scan in. Search parameters must be manually entered. Try 3919 Mhz, V and 1.970 SR.

I wish they would make that lower right screen logo a bit smaller.

I found something interesting with my new 180CM Fortec Prime focus C-Band Antenna.

I aimed between G25 and G4 and get nearly everything on both birds. I get KCSG , BYU, the Nets on G4 and even Casper. The Casper channel quality is about 45 - 50% but never breaks up. All others are much stronger.

That's because of the size of the dish, and signal spill over. A larger dish would reject signals from orbital positions that are 2 degrees apart.

I goofed ,no such animal

Iceberg has shown me the light!
I saw something else on G25, it was actually KAFG-TV!!!! 12122H on 97
Swore that was it, lol
Now replacing that energy-saving bulb in my head, with the regular incandescent type.
