Remember Kaley Cuoco's DISH tweet a few weeks ago?

http://www.satelliteguys.us/threads...delete-sponsored-Hopper-tweet?highlight=cuoco

Last night (Monday, March 11), Cuoco emceed the 22nd TV Hall of Fame ceremonies in Beverly Hills. The Hollywood Reporter describes Cuoco's opening remarks:

Kaley Cuoco, who plays Penny on the CBS hit The Big Bang Theory, acted as mistress of ceremonies for the evening. She opened with a reference to the current legal battle between CBS and other networks who are upset with the Dish Network, which offers a device that makes it easy for viewers to skip all commercials.

Turning to Leslie Moonves, Cuoco said: “Leslie, f--k the Dish Network. Are we cool now? Are we good?”

I censored the "f" word myself. I think that's pretty sleazy. She didn't have to use that tone of language to make her point. I often say things I shouldn't, but the "f" word just really bothers me. Call me an old-fart, old-fashioned - I really don't care. Here's the rest of the Hollywood Reporter's story, if you care to read it:

I think her use of the f-word was to embarrass Leslie while at the same time basically saying in defiance what the CEO wanted to hear. I think the whole point WAS to be sleazy in her message that Leslie wanted her to say. In effect, she was saying "screw you" to Leslie without actually saying it.

I agree and I bet after les threatend her with her job she covered herself both ways :)

Yeah, after I posted, I got to thinking she could have intended her comment a couple of different ways.

I dont agree w/ CBS management using their talent to voice management opinions. Got something to say, say it yourself..or hire Gary Busey.

Cheers, K

By her saying "Are we cool now? Are we good?", it's perfectly clear that she said what he wanted to hear. Kinda like, "there, I said it - you happy ?".

I agree with what Hall said, pretty obvious to me.

To me it sounds like she was trying to embarrass the CBS brass by making it sarcastic. I bet even Sheldon would have gotten that. :D

In the end, I venture to say that most everyone here would let

say anything she wants... :D

Nice picture. BUT Big Bang Theory has to be the stupidest show on TV, and I could give FA what she has to say about dish or anything else.

Yep Hall is dead on the money ... Les and his goons put the squeeze on Kaley, but she managed to flip it.
Yep, except I said the same thing 4 posts before that. :)

The fact that Les is that petty is really a shame. He doesn't have a leg to stand on in this case, so he chooses to be a big freaking baby. I applaud her. I would have said even worse. Like "stop being such a ... and go ... it's not my job to fight your fight." Les has too much of a Howard Stern complex from hanging around with Stern. A God complex is what I'm revering to. He thinks the world owes him something from his crappy cookie cutter radio stations, to his network that made its notoriety off of good writing and acting. Les, a trained monkey can do your job you jackass.

Moved back to PR, and what did I find?

Dish markets with ME TV/RTV
