Just got my microhd today and looking at settings. Has anyone got a display setting that looks the best? I did a search but found nothing about these settings. Hue and such.

So far loving the mirco hd and fta. Beats looking at over the air and roku all the time.

I keep mind at 1080p.

Yep that is what I keep mine set to if that is exactly what you are asking. What kind of HD Set do you have?

If your monitor is properly calibrated and connected to the microHD via the HDMI, no adjustments should be necessary. Your personal preference in display warmth, contrast, etc. might lead you to adjust, but usually these adjustments are made with the monitor set-up.

I've never bothered playing with the Display Settings but for TV System I use 1080P and Auto. The Auto really works well on the microHD unlike other devices I own.

I think it looks good at the fact settings. But I know some over the air boxs that had these settings people posted the best of the best for them. I think it looks great I did turn sharp down to 0. Other then that I am loving this little box.

I am using a video projector not sure of the brand but it is hd so setting the box to 1080p.

Sharpness + adds a generated border edge to provide the illusion of increased resolution. Zero (0) is a great place to keep this setting!

This post inspired me to play around with the microHD TV System settings.

I had it set to 'By Source / Auto / Bitstream' connecting to my AVR > TV in order to display a 4:3 format for SD channels and 16:9 format for HD channels, but I didn't really like the audio/display time out when resolutions changed.

I changed the TV System to 'By Native TV / 16:9 / Bistream' which keeps the AVR > TV at 1080p, avoiding the time out, and properly formats both 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios.
