Just got back from the UCONN Parade in Hartford and it was the most amazing public event I have ever been to.
I was 1 of over 300,000 people in attendence of this event and had an excellent time. Security was very tight with 5 state police helicopters overhead throught the entire event.
I got to say hi and shake the hand of a long time family friend, Senator Joe Leiberman, I also saw some friends who I have not seen in a long time.
The parade itself was a huge event with both the Uconn woman and Mens teams traveling on top of a double decker bus waving and actually talking to people in the crowds as they drove by.
Hats off to the City of Hartford for a well orginized event. And congrats to the UCONN HUSKIES men and womans teams!
