Joe Jurevicious Sues The Browns

Good for him. I know Joe went through a lot of medical issues (staph infections) that may or may not have been able to be prevented that cost him a few good years as a professional and ultimately cut his career short. Joe's a great guy and from the area. I know this pained him to do, but it has to be done to protect future patients and athletes.

The Clinic cost LeCharles Bentley his career (and nearly his life) too.

As a rule, worker's compensataion prohibits suits by employees against employers. Unless Ohio has some weird exception for athletes, he will be thrown out of court.

I imagine there is some kind of exception in the case of gross negligence or he has some legal route (something in the CBA maybe) that's viable or he wouldn't have tried to do this. Pretty sure football injuries aren't really governed by traditional worker's comp laws, and instead by the CBA.
