Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson has been suspended by the BBC "following a fracas" with a producer.

The corporation said the 54-year-old presenter had been suspended "pending an investigation".

"No one else has been suspended. Top Gear will not be broadcast this Sunday," it said.

Clarkson was given what he called his "final warning" last May after claims he used a racist word while filming the popular BBC motoring show.

Wow I thought he was at least 10 years older.

Part of his appeal is the occasional abrasiveness. Insulting the French, Ozzies, Kiwis, us dumb Americans and all sorts of cars is funny.

Frak-us def: How to leave your job suddenly and permanently. How to tank your career. How to suddenly need to apply for a new job, such as local children's show host, and fail to be hired. How to set yourself up for taking an Anger Management course and/or a rehab stint and/or reveal you're the victim of child abuse and take the Pity Me route to getting your old, or a similar job, back- and discover there are so many potholes in that road you just might not pull it off. How to retire at an early age.

according to some of the reports I read, Jeremy has a 30% equity interest in Top Gear. I'd be more worried about being fired if I were the producer.

Thanks. Didn't know that. BBC has now confirmed that Jeremy punched a producer, some have said over forgetting to order lunch for the cast. BBC also says the last three episodes will never be broadcast. Apparently some of the studio work hadn't been shot yet.

At any rate, I ran across this op-ed piece that I thought was interesting: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/men/thin...determined-to-be-the-nations-biggest-oaf.html

The studio taping is done on the Wed or Thurs before airing on Sunday. So, those shows haven't even been taped yet.

Sounds like this guy is pulling a Charlie Sheen who, by the way, apologized for his conduct back in 2011 and stated he was wrong. Anyway, why are people so sensitive about a few racists remarks these days? I'm a really nice guy...but you ought to hear the crap that spews out of my mouth while dealing the terrible drivers! Holy Moly! :)

Looks like something may be up this coming week. Supposedly the 3 of them and the former TG executive producer Andy Wilman are about ready to finalize a deal with Netflix
