Lately, this question has come up a lot....

What can I get Free to Air? I have a 30" dish and I want to get "X" channel. Can I get it? Some of us have linked them to the Lyngsat site, which is a good site. However, for newbies it can get confusing what they can get.
I will answer the 3 biggest questions...

What can I get with an 18" dish?

I have a 30" (or 36" or 1m) dish and KU band LNB. What can I pick up?
Here is a list of the channels you should be able to pick up on the KU band

I have a C-Band dish (6-10 foot). What can I get on there?
These are the FTA channels that you can get with a C-band dish and a digital receiver.

Please note stuff comes and goes all the time, but the list has most of the stuff that is up there, and has been there for a while.
For the most current listings, check out www.lyngsat.com. To understand how to decipher all the info there, DMSI has a great "how to" page. http://www.dmsiusa.com/charts.htm
