Any big announcements? Maybe the reopening of a certain controversial part of the board?
Why bother?? It won't last...Any big announcements? Maybe the reopening of a certain controversial part of the board?
Now you've done it! I asked about this (among others?) the last time a certain controversial part was supposed to come back, and I think that only postponed it's return.Any big announcements? Maybe the reopening of a certain controversial part of the board?
Long clocking? How about just fixing the long clocking on the site that's been going on for a while?
Could be, but normally there isn't any lag at all.I think Primestar31 is talking about the lag the site experiences when you react to a post or select a thread to read. Or posting, as well.
I still see terrible lag (30 seconds?) when I first visit SG. Once the page finally renders, then it's zippy on other pages.Could be, but normally there isn't any lag at all.
I am seeing that too. Scott did something a while back and it got faster for just a day or two.I still see terrible lag (30 seconds?) when I first visit SG. Once the page finally renders, then it's zippy on other pages.

That's correct, for days now there's a lag getting on the site, posting anything, etc. Same as weeks ago. I have Spectrum 100/10, and NO other sites have this same lag.Unfortunately not seeing any issues here. Wish I was.
I follow another forum that uses XenForo too and it opens within a second consistently. My guess it's google searching your history to point ads at you.
