Now here's something interesting, a combination scanner and binoculars. These were made around 2000 by Memorex for NASCAR fans, you could watch your favorite race car driver and hear the radio transmissions at the same time. As a scanner it's pretty good, 100 channel memory, covers VHF, UHF, even 800 MHz band. Using it as a base scanner as the binoculars weigh it down nicely, doesn't tip over. You need headphones though as it has no speaker.
