yep

there are many receivers out there that are "clones" of well known receivers. They claim to work just like the original but in some cases they are just JUNK

HUB Tech is the Mother Co. for DigiWave/Diamond, Technomate, MAXDigital, ClarkeTech, Coolsat, and others. So the basic design can be the same for many units, and they can share Mfg. plants. I've read that's what happened with some of the Coolsat X000 units, and that's why they quickly switched to the X100 series, too much "sharing".
