Cable is run from Dish to closet where Directv green SWiM splitter splits out to outlets
Cable run from wall outlet in living room to HR34
PI is on other side of room behind couch connected to seperate wall outlet

Thats^^^ my current setup.

I have an H25 on the way
A SWS-2 Satellite 2-Way Wide Band MRV Compatible Splitter (2 -2150 MHz) on the way
1.5ft RG6 and 3ft RG6

What I plan to do is, run the 1.5footer from the wall outlet at my main TV to the 2 way splitter, connect the HR34 cable to one out, and then connect the 3 foot RG6 to the other out on the 2way splitter. I'll then run that 3 footer to the H25, and then connect it to the 2nd TV. Good?

So you are going to run a splitter off of one leg of another splitter? I don't think you can do that.

I guess the thing in the closet is a splitter. The installer has the one outside line in to one side, an then the two living room lines connected to the other side.

I don't think that matter with SWiM. Technically I should have 8 tuners available, an I'm only using 5 with the HR34 and 1 if I ad the H25. There are people running 3 tv's in the same room with a splitter and 3 boxes.

Thanks hifi. I was thinking you could split these newer setups as long as you had the green splitter and enough tuners.

ns they have a 4-way followed by a 4-way, that gives a 16-way split at each of the outputs from the second 4-way and should NOT be done.

Well, got the H25 and 2 way green splitter in today. Put the splitter where the feed comes out of the wall, ran one to the HR34 and one to the H25 and BAM, HD service on second tv in the living room. We are ready for Saturday and Sunday fball now :)

Working good!
