Is there a differece in black levels?

Is there a difference in black levels between using an Hdmi and component cables with the Hr24's? I thought I read somewhere that over Hdmi it might not but can't find the thread now.

I haven't sen any difference as to BLack levels, but I'm using HDMI all the way.
