Is the hard drive in my HWS going bad?

To me, saving the 66 timers (on average I that many on each of my 2 hoppers) to the remote is a lifesaver. If the drive just fails, well I lose the shows. One of these days, SSD drives will be cheap enough that we won't have this and heat problems. But it's flaky I can quickly start a copy off to an EHD. But reentering those timers would be a pain. But you make a good point on the folders. My guess, it would have to also be a firmware upgrade to the remote(s).

SSDs have a limited number of read write cycles. Probably not a good choice for a DVR until they address that problem.
