It was suggested to come over to this forum to ask this question.

I am going to install the 5-LNB dish as opposed to the SWM LNB, and therefore will be using the SWM-8. I know the instructions from the training manual I have read state that it is "required to be used during the peaking process to ensure that the 101 and 119 satellites are located and peaked for maximum signal strength", but this is for the SWM LNB. Is this also required for using the SWM-8? I do currently have the Accutrac Pro.

No, you won't need it. The SWM-8 shouldn't be installed until you get the dish setup, pointed, peaked, etc.

Hmmm, I just noticed that the reply I sent didn't go thru. I just wanted to thank you for the information. Every little bit saved helps.
