Scanned in 79.0W / AMC-5 yesterday I got KTEL at S= 61 and Q= 55, but when I tried for NYN which is listed on Lyngsat at: 12177H 20500 / 3/4 I got nothing?? Is NYN no longer in service or is it just not available from my area here in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada?

They moved over to 105W last year and then disappeared. Haven't seen them lately in my sky scanning.

No , those channels moved to AMC15 maybe 8 months ago, and then within a couple months they were mostly gone from there , too. Check AMC15 11736 H 20500, which is Lyngast's listing for them , I don't think it's active right now.
:)

Once in a blue while there will be a NYN feed on 105W but its just a news feed

Those racing channels are gone

NYN moved over to 95W to the Racetrack Television Network channels, which until recently had been ITC, I believe NYN9 was actually called OTB3 on the 95W package. All gone now, dishnetwork dealing gobbled it up, now they are selling those channels as a sports package.

Thanks all for the replies. Wonder why its still listed on Lyngsat - talk about an out of date listing, guess I need to stick to The List. Also as has been noted I did scan in a bunch of RTN channels on Galaxy 3C 95.0W on Ku Band, but seems to me I remember them being there previously.

yes, NYN is up on AMC-15 just when needed for feeds. The fulltime service is gone.

Capital OTB is on C-band (it was the FTA racing channel 9 when there ws a 9-channel mux) and I assume channels 4-8 are part of RTN now on DISH Network since they probably are the same tracks as what RTN would also carry.
