Is my receiver worth anything?

I can't get OTA as I cancelled beofore VOOM went dark so does anyone want my receiver? If not, the CSR at VOOM said that the parts inside might be worth soemthing to certain people. Can anyone help?

see what the price of the receivers are going for

Try this........

This came from a website by Ultatryon. This source claims he used to work for Voom. By the way he talks, this simulates a hit to the receiver. Pull out your nds smart card and unplug your ird for exactly 10 minutes no longer re boot and while booting add card this will auto send a hit to your box. I can't confirm that this will work because I'm not willing to screw up my receiver which is already activated.

EDIT: oh wait, I see that.. I dont know if thats is all that legit.. but it really cant hurt to try! I will give it a wirl later, but I am not setting my hopes very high.

I wouldn't try it if I had an already active receiver. However, if you buy a dud off of Ebay, it wouldn't hurt to try and see if it would work. What have you got to lose except maybe your patience?
