I'm wondering if I should call in and try to get them to replace my H24 in the kitchen. First problem is when I reboot the receiver the TV shows static on the screen even though the receiver is on. This is a quick fix just unplug the HDMI cable from the back and plug it back in the the finding satellite step 2 of 2 is on and then once that loads I can wait TV.

Now a new problem I now have is when I hit the power button (doesn't matter remote or receiver) it takes about 18 - 20 seconds to turn on. It wouldn't matter how many times you hit power it doesn't do anything almost like it's dead or getting no power. Then after the 18 seconds it turns on and run normal.

Now I am a CE tester and this did start after downloading The CE for the 25/26. This is the only receiver that's doing this. (Now I have 3 H24 and did the CE to two of them) The one in my bedroom is acting normal. So I'm not convinced that CE is the problem. I haven't seen anyone else report this either. So is my H24 dying?

Could be. Have you tried using a different remote? How about switching the H24s around. Neither of these things should work, but you never know!

Even if I use the power button on the receiver it does it as well. I didn't try changing the receivers. I can do that tomorrow. Then I'll post back my findings.

Could be going, would be odd, but it does happen.

Have you tried replacing the HDMI cable or see if you have a loose connection (for the first part of your issues)

You can report it in the appropriate CE thread. Perhaps you can go back to the NR and see if it still does it.
