Oct. 8: The festival concludes with an indoor screening of the horror classic The Shining in high definition.

The festival will mark the first events to be held at the Rogers Outdoor Amphitheater, a beautiful setting on the north end of the University of Denver campus where state-of-the-art technology blends with the communal design of open-air auditoriums. The amphitheater lawn seats 200 and is the perfect spot for a pre-movie picnic.

The five titles were provided to The Center by cable programmer Rainbow Media, which owns and operates premier national networks American Movie Classics (AMC), Independent Film Channel (IFC), WE: Women's Entertainment, as well as original on-demand services such as World Picks, Mag Rack and sportskool.

If this comes in 16x9 and I don't have a DVR I am going to be so peeved, this is one of my favorite horror movies of all time. Also it's kind of a travesty to call it Nicholson's SHining when it's really Kubrick's Shining.
