I had a hopper and 2 joeys installed today (upgrade from a single 622). The installer did not have a HIC with him. In fact, he didn't know what it was. Didn't instill the most confidence with me! He was confusing Sling, HIC, and the Powerline adapters. He was going to install a wireless connector on the hopper but I told him not to.
So, I contacted Dish's support chat and they are sending me one, but they are charging me $25 for it. They wouldn't waive it. I thought it was part of the install price. They insisted it was not included. I went ahead and ordered it anyway.
Anything I can do? I really don't feel like calling India and trying to explain what the internet connector is to the agent.
