Is Empire really quiet?

I had to move my portable dish sled, but I finally found a spot sufficiently unobstructed to pull in AMC5. More education! Live horse racing! And my reason for pointing thataway: Empire Sports Network.

Empire comes in with unusually strong signal quality, but in my setup, the audio is very quiet. If I crank my stereo to normally uncomfortable levels, I can hear Empire so it's not a AC-3 thing. (Gotta be sure to remember to turn it back down before I change channels!!)

Is Empire quiet on your systems, or is there something I'm doing wrong?

Loud and proud here Carload same as the rest of the AMC-5 channels! Watching some boxing right now on EMPIRE. It is in (double)mono, but no problems.

On mine, the right audio channel on Empire doesnt work...I leave it on left only

change your setting to Left and turn down the TV before that

I only get the left audio also, but it comes in loud and clear.

Thanks. Sure enough, one of my RCA connectors was a little flaky. Once I fixed that, Empire began sounding pretty normal.
