I am trying to install the upgrade kit, and have the 301 receiver. I have everything hooked up and the remote turns on the receiver and will turn on the second tv; but I can not change channels. I called Dish because I noticed that the red light on the converter is not on all the time. It will flash on when I use the remote though. Anyway I have talked to 4 different people and no one can tell me for sure if the light should always be on. I'm thinking maybe the converter is defective.
