Ion on 103

I pick up ION East on 103 C 3840 26681sr H with a signal of 89-90 and Q solid at 70.
I go to East HD on 103 C 4040 30000sr and get a signal of 89 and a Q of 10 at best.
Quality bounces from 10 to 1 and the HD picture is there but tiles real bad to good.
Anyone know why one TP should put out a good signal and another on same satellite puts out junk?
Did the usual dish wiggling and found no improvement on 4040.

10 foot Winegard Pinnacle perforated. Not sure on LNBF. Bought from Sat-AV over a year or two ago. Not real expensive.

3840 26681sr H, Q 75-76 -- 4040 30000sr is Q 65 to 70 bouncing, solid reception. No tiling or audio drop outs. Openbox S9, Geosatpro C2 LNBF, 10 ft.
Did a blind scan also, seems something from 135 is up here now.

That LNBF rings a bell. It may be that unit. Can't check now, too much rain. Odd that it works so well on some channels and not on others.....
