Sorry if this has been asked/answered before. When I hardwire my Hopper to my router it causes everything hooked to my home network to go crazy. Everything logs off and on to the internet constantly. Dish has sent a replacement Hopper but the new one does the same thing. I called tech support again and was transferred to an internet specialist. They could not help and wanted to send a tech but since I've "moved" that's not an option. Besides the techs they send to help me know less about the equiptment than I do. No offense to the really good installers who use this forum. When I go to the network setup on the Hopper it shows a yellow bar on the broadband connection icon and the connections read as failed. The strange thing is the send and recieve info on the bottom show packets being sent and revieved (appx 21,000 in each direction). Can anyone help with this? The wireless router I'm using is a Trendnet TEW435W and the internew connection is thru TWC.
