Internet connection problem

I live in a motorhome and connect to the internet through Hughsnet. I am planning on replacing my two 508 DVRs with either a VIP 722K or VIP 222K and would like to connect the new receiver to the internet. Does anyone have experience with connecting a VIP receiver to the internet through a satellite connection? Does the delay going up to the bird and back to earth cause the receiver any problems?

If you get a 722 the delay for getting stuff would be slower for the online stuff. There isn't any requirement to have a receiver hooked up to broadband or internet now so a 222 wouldn't serve any purpose other than to order ppv. If you order a ppv through dish either through dish online or through a csr, then both tuners in the receiver would get it. That is the main disadvantage of ordering a ppv through a receiver, that is the only tuner that is authorized for it.
