Interesting column:
General "do no harm" comments. Show this to the NASCAR crew. Burdened with NASCAR's idiotic rule of eliminating the natural system of racing back to the caution, they constantly speculate on who is the "lucky dog" in the stupidity that has replaced the system that worked so well for 53 years.
Todd's Buffet comments. Yes. Cover the d*** game. I don't care about some restaurant in some obscure college town.
Schedule comments. The simple fact is that most football games last more than 3 hours and ESPN needs to make better use of its alt channels.
National anthem comments. Either show it, reverently, as in NASCAR or most college football games, or be in studio or in commercial during it, as in most other sports. All on the guys in the truck.
Hispanic comments. The people in Miami are right to boo. It was an inappropriate PC event that the NFL should not repeat.
Politics comments. Keep YOUR politics out of MY games. Taped "tributes" (look at MEEEEEEEEE!) by politicians who are not at the game are unwelcome and abrasive to most people.
